Anger is known by everyone. Everybody has felt it: whether as an annoyance or as full fledged rage. It is completely normal, healthy human emotion. It is dangerous when it gets out of control and turns destructive. It may lead to problems in your personal relationships and at workplace. Overall quality of your life is affected.

Everybody in society is experiencing stress in our lives due to demands of our jobs, family situations and economic conditions. The ability to avoid inappropriate expression of anger is a crucial skill to living healthy, happy life. Everyone gets angry. Some people will react very quickly to the perceived pain. Some may not. May be some lose their coolness and hit the roof. The difficult part is learning what to do with these strong feelings. Sometimes it is important to get angry sometimes. Children will understand their mistakes if teacher is angry with them. But anger must be released in proper way. It is one and the same thing like; steam gathering under the lid will blow the lid. When that happens its no fun for anyone. Hence you should learn to manage your anger. Normally when you are angry you can do counting to 10, take a walk, exercise some time, or talk to somebody else about your feelings. These activities usually slowly calm your feelings and after sometime you will not be excited as before.

But if this situation arises frequently then you must think of taking somebody's help. If your anger lasts longer as time goes on, or if your anger leads into aggression or if your anger is destroying your personal and professional relationships then you must join anger management class which enable s you to talk with other people having same problems.

Anger management groups focus on changing the beliefs that support verbally controlling and abusive behaviors.
